It also helps prevent dropped calls. It doesn't require a direct connection to your phone, but rather works wirelessly. It can also work for multiple users at the same time. This amplifier is dual band, meaning that it works with the two major North American frequency ranges 850 and 1900 and it will work with almost all major carriers with the exception of Iden/Nextel. As part of the kit, with antennas and cables, it can reliably cover areas up to 1,500 sq ft.
