The Wilson 301111 is Wilson's Cellular/Iden yagi antenna.  The advantage the yagi has over the other antennas is the gain. This antenna has a 13 dBi gain while many other antennas can only get a gain of 6 dBi.

The yagi must be pointed in the direction of the cell tower to get best results. Often you can find the optimal direction by holding your phone against the antenna cable and watching the bars on the phone. It is best to adjust it 5 degrees at a time. If you don't want to point it, you should go with one of our omni-directional antennas.

Important Note: Yagi antennas will only work in straight land and line of sight situation. They will not work in mountainous areas, since they have to be pointed towards the cell tower on a straight line without anything else in the middle.
