The 301112 is a NMO trucker dual band antenna. It is connected to the roof of the

truck with a NMO mount, the 901102 or the 901103 (which is not included). It is more

permanent than the magnet mount antennas which can be removed. The difference

between this antenna and the 301104 is that the 301112 has an added plastic

covering which some drivers feel stops a whistling sound some times found with the

301104. Other than that, it is the same antenna.

A metal ground plane is required for all NMO antennas.
